First things first, the Multimedia/Previous Stories section of my resume has been updated with four my favorite stories. Take a look.
This summer has been good. I was able to work two jobs this summer where I have learned quite a bit and really enjoyed myself.
While working at KGOU, I’ve been able to learn more about both the news side and the production aspects of radio. I’ve been reading calendars and tagging promos for NPR and PRI radio programs, as well as our own shows. Over the past two months, I have begun producing promos for programs as well as writing album reviews.
Over at Running Times Magazine, I have had the opportunity to talk to runners who I admire and respect. Here’s some of the work I have done there:

I’ve also had a large role in revamping the training section of the Running Times website. I’m now taking on a new roll as I am beginning to work on the Ask the Experts section. So I really enjoyed my summer working for these two organizations and I will be staying on with both KGOU and Running Times Magazine throughout the fall. After that, it’s anybody’s guess.
